resolutions

Another year has passed by and since July it has gone by in the blink of an eye. Or so it feels that way to me sitting here on my bed blogging surrounded by pink, eating yoghurt. From travelling to Malaysia, India, Sydney and starting my last year to celebrating my birthday, planning future holidays (like Europe in July and Africa in December 2014) and my parent's surprise wedding anniversary, my graduation recital, dealing with being sick, holidaying in Melbourne and many more little things. What a year!

I love taking pictures of pretty little things especially things full of colour. It's that notion of then putting together a post - writing and photos for my little blog that it just that little bit more challenging even though I have everything perfectly planned in my head. I guess that is my blog's New Year's resolution. To produce more posts and not procrastinate as much. But, is there anything you would like to see coming up? I would love to branch out and try new things and so if you have any ideas please tell me, as I would love to explore more.

I would love to know how you are all celebrating New Year's Eve and what you are wishing to achieve, see and do in 2014! Break a leg? And best wishes beautiful people. Love B, xx

Happy Holidays!

Hello beautiful people! I'm so sorry I didn't keep to my promise of writing numerous posts and updating you on all my amazing summer adventures but I have been sick for the last two months and while dealing with that, preparing to graduate and have been tirelessly trying to decide what to do for the next two years of my life. I got into Masters of Early Childhood Education and Masters of Music Therapy yay yay!!

This post, is to wish all of you beautiful people a belated Merry Christmas! Christmas is my favourite time of the year (besides spring being the prettiest season). Christmas is always a busy time for me because I play carols at my local nursing homes, and in church and time really does fly by! I am going to make amends and start spamming you all with wonderful photos and happy adventure stories.  I have so much to share here! (Or you can be updated through my little photo diary on instagram @littlebxx)

Wishing you all happy holidays!

Best wishes
Love B, xx

George

classical graduation recital preparation

So, I couldn't wait any longer but here is a teeny-tiny-itsy-bitsy sneak peek photo of my graduation recital photoshoot (which is also my favourite).

The irony for some may be, that I am actually a classical piano student. But, I have always liked violin more since I was younger, as there's more you can do with it in terms of groups and there is just one that I have to get used to. George. We've been through a lot and he has travelled around with me quite a bit!

Enjoy, more photos coming your ways! Ciao, B xx

P.s A lot means, one fine, hot summer's day about 5 years ago, I fainted in the first five minutes of my violin lesson on my violin, with my bow breaking the fall. It was a tad traumatic when I gained consciousness because I was so scared I had smashed my violin! But instruments are magical things.

There is a sunshower outside, and I can hear the birds chirping. I finally have a spare minute to gather my thoughts and write a post hooray! I can't tell you how busy the last few months have been. Can you believe it, there is only one more month till my graduation recital and till I graduate! How time flies.

Here are just a few sneak peek pictures from my birthday lunch in the hills surrounded by the beautiful environment. (Yes, if you can't tell Alannah Hill and Forever New are my favourite shops but that's another story for another day). We went to this little place called 'Genesis in the Hills' which was 100% organic even the meat. For me, it was something completely different but the nature outside the little restaurant was breathtaking. These pictures are a little funny as you can see only too well how opposite my sister and I are, even though we say the same things at once or are thinking the same thing and people think we're twins. Good joke!

Love always,
B xx

So, I guess I haven't quite kept to my promise of numerous posts and the like but I have ticked quite a few things of my holiday list of things to do. My newest accomplishment is my guitar playing - it has been sky rocketing yay! My holidays began nestled amongst the beautiful autumn leaves of Hyde Park on a cold wintry morning. Isn't my friend Emma so cute? She was actually trying to catch the leaves as opposed to making a mess like me.

I can't tell you how much I adore this outfit! The coat is a timeless piece paired with  my favourite top (although you can't really see the top, it was freezing!!). I have always been a breton striped person when it comes to tops as opposed to spots. This is me bringing a little Parisian flair into my clothing minus my beautiful beret, while Dougie goes adventuring through Barcelona. I wish I was exploring the beautiful old cities with their unique charms too! B xx

Every little girl dreams of being a fairy. And for some (like me) they resort to dressing up as one for a medieval 21st when they're older. This beautiful white tulle Show Pony skirt was perfecto for the occasion! I know it doesn't exactly scream middle ages but here are just a few photos (taken on my ipod - the camera was dead) of me living out my childhood dreams of becoming a fairy. Have a beautiful rest of week

So after a crazy week filled with many musical moments, I am finally writing my next post. I can't wait to leave the stress of uni behind in my one month break of holidays! There's nothing quite like spending an afternoon exploring the foreshore in the warm afternoon sunlight. Hello little macaroon date!

We somehow found ourselves on the other side of the river and ventured into La Galette De France for some delightful macaroons. For those of you who can't recognise the city, this is Perth - a little hidden gem in Australia. I love the big cities and adore New York and can't wait to move there one day but Perth will always be home. Anyways, back on topic! These photos were taken on my Ipod as I don't carry my big chunky Canon to uni!

Mends street is known for its cute little cafes and yummy food. La Galette is gorgeous, but trust me, there are a lot of adorable little hidden places in Perth waiting to be found! So do come and explore with me. Love B, xx

Deu bori rat dium

Deu bori rat dium, adeus! One of the few Konkani phrases we learnt meaning, "Goodnight and Goodbye." I would never have imagined I would fall in love with Goa after complaining for months and months about the whole idea of staying for what seemed like forever. However, time flew by! The chaos, atmosphere, new and old friendships, amazing experiences and everlasting memories created along the way will be forever cherished! Goa ma Belle ♥
